Misata Studio is in public beta and free to use today. Below is the pricing model we are planning for the product, shared early and openly. The engine runs deterministically, so generating data is cheap, and the pricing reflects that. You only pay for scale, privacy, and the convenience of AI schema design built in.

How AI credits work
Generating data is deterministic and essentially free, so we never meter it. The one part that costs real money is the AI that turns your plain-English description into a schema. Paid plans include a monthly allotment of AI generations, and if you need more you can buy a credit pack. Plain generation stays unlimited and unmetered. You only spend a credit when you ask the AI to design the schema for you.
Why bring-your-own-key today
During the beta, the AI schema-design step uses your own API key. That is a deliberate choice, not a limitation we are hiding: it keeps the free tier truly free, and it means we never mark up someone else’s model while the product earns its keep. When Pro launches, the best-performing model we can run ships built in, no key, no setup, and your key still works if you prefer it. Either way, the model only ever designs the schema. Generation itself is our own deterministic engine, so your data never depends on an LLM and never leaves the loop unproven.
